In this workshop you will learn about the state legislative process, how bills become laws, and ways to engage with the legislative process and advance community colleges interests. We will explore practical tips for legislative advocacy, connecting with representatives, and effectively communicating to advocate for policies benefiting faculty and students.
This event is hosted by the FACCC Counselors Committee and is a follow up to our goals to share, inform, and inspire advocacy efforts towards equity in grade alleviation practices.
