AB 2121 is headed to Governor Gavin Newsom’s desk for final action. FACCC is urging Governor Newsom to veto the bill and protect the integrity of the 50% Law.
FACCC is calling on faculty, advocates, and supporters to take action to protect the 50% Law, which requires California community college districts to spend at least half of their current expense of education on faculty salaries and benefits. The law is a critical safeguard for small class sizes and instructional quality across the 116-campus system.
Take action: contact the Governor today and tell him to vote no on AB 2121.
