Before You Join
Common questions
Who can join?
Every California community college faculty member, part-time and full-time, instructional and student services, plus retirees, and allies of the profession through Associate membership.
How are dues paid?
The easiest way is payroll deduction: fill out the short form on our Join page and we’ll send your information to your district, with no payment upfront. You can also pay your annual dues online by card.
Is FACCC a union?
No, FACCC is a statewide professional association, not a bargaining unit. We complement your local union by advocating where it can’t: the Capitol, the Chancellor’s Office, and CalSTRS.
Are dues tax-deductible?
Short answer: it depends. Confirm your situation with a tax advisor.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, there’s no long-term commitment. Email info@faccc.org and we’ll take care of it.
Where do my dues go?
Advocacy in Sacramento, professional development through the Education Institute, and the communications that keep faculty informed.
When do benefits start?
